Aeon sits at a table in the common room of the inn composing a letter to his master letting him know that he made it out of fa rei via a roundabout route through shion pa and he was bound for the free islands. Aeon made no mention that he was not planning to come back, not yet, first he let his master know that he would need to draw from House Mahajan's account at one of the merchant banks. He rolls up the scroll and pays a boy to have it delivered before leaning back in his chair. He is lost in thought, plotting, planning.

Tun Si: critical success
The young man tending to the shop seems to be absolutely smitten. [an Insight check of DC 10 would reveal this to Tun Si or Akane.]
"Uuh- y-yes, of course.. R-right away..!"
[Tun-Si has half off to all items that Akane found in the shop]

Tama gave one more look around the room, in search of any more clues that could reveal anything more about the crime.

(Insight [dice=20]+7=26)
Akane could easily tell the keeper was quite smitten by Tun Si and could possibly bend over backwards if Akane played her cards right but she chose not to. She was tired from today, especially from telling fortunes and giving out advice.[rand=933415855281055572537534870207362346311775036167059266464784741]

"I think it's high time I returned to studying with Nam Il, still a lot of things I need to catch up on. Thank you for your company, Akane."
With that, Tun entered the inn. She packed her new items away safe in her room before heading to Nam Il's room and sliding open the door. "I've done all I needed to do, Nam Il xiānshēng."

Tama:
Judging from the cloth and patchwork, it narrowed Tama's options down to five members of her squad who performed in cloth.. nearly half of her entire squad.. and that is only IF her more armored soldiers did not happen to be wearing their ceremonial uniforms during this incident. Two of them she knew for a fact were out by the Shalaman desert, far from Shion-Pa, and one was Northeast by Sueongha. But what if Tsubaki was involved? She can teleport across the country in an instant with the help of the squad's crystals. And this did not rule out the possibility of someone trying to frame an Ishi-Jo member. In short, without more detailed evidence, Tama was swinging blind at potential suspects.
What she did notice from the cloth was the edge of the cloth; it was not in disarray, as if yanked off by hand. The edges were clean as if cut with a fine blade, yet even finer than that.
Finally, Tama could begin to sense a presence in the area, a presence she was very familiar with; that of Tsubaki.
Tun Si: Nam Il was sitting by his desk when he jumps slightly from Tun Si's entrance.
"Oh, right.." Nam Il looks to her and back to the scroll laid out in front of him. He seems worried and lost in thought as he looks at what the scroll was telling him.

As Tama holds out the crystal and activates it, a crack of sound and lights flash in the room, nearly toppling back the detective. Just a few feet ahead of her, sparks of psionic energy release electric buzzing sounds and pops before a figure falls out of thin air onto the ground, bloodied. It only takes Tama an instant to realize it is a wounded Tsubaki who has fallen out of nothing.

The Free Islands: The youngest nation in Shyuu next to Talzistan, the Free Islands are South of Fa-Rei and East of Rhasmapatra, making up the land and islands of the South East Sea. They are governed by various states, one for every major island. They pride themselves in their neutrality in international affairs, though this independence and free-thinking ideology has led to more than its fair share of corrupt elements, from crime syndicates to pirates. Many in the civilized world see the Free Islands as no more than wretched hives of scum and villainy.
The Free Islands are home to a large population of belligerent looking halflings known as Korobokuru. Despite their stature, they’re known for being quite tough and fearless. Originally from Western Fa-Rei, the Korobokuru people resided there before Fa-Rei’s grand expansion, and they never embraced the Fa-Rei government. Upon the formation of the Free Islands, they started to move in droves to start a new life away from the government of the lands they once inhabited. They face little discrimination here, and even the huana (mayor or chief) of Calrong Harbor, one of the Free Island's largest citystates, happens to be a Korobokuru.
Aside from a particularly bizarre assortment of spirits and monsters known to roam the countryside, the Doc'Cu'Oc they had seen before being one of them, the islands are also home to a host of various kinds of vampires, which makes the wilderness and dark alleys just as dangerous as the cities and towns.

"Oh my lovely Mifune" he sighed her name, "I was too late to save you... stupid psychic... If only she hadn't be such garbage she could have warned me earlier and you'd..."
he trailed off as the Inspector came out hurridly shouting for himself. Geshou Duk stood up and hurried over.

Meanwhile, Nam Il turns to Tun Si.
"What, aside from what those scrolls say?" He turns his seat around to face her.
"Well.. I hear the seafood is delicious. Despite our best efforts, we still have not cataloged every particular culture that is born from that region."
