The Fa-Rei Kingdom is the third newest nation of Shyuu and by far the largest. Although predominantly Fa-Reinese, the larger cities and border cities are filled with people from a variety of heritages. Ruled by a king, it was only a century ago that dynasties and family bloodlines were no longer the only ones eligible for royalty. The noble class has also become more of an earned status than a birthright, granted by merit and service to the kingdom rather than family ties. Hoshidonese Samurai Lords (Daimyo) that have migrated from Hoshidon play the second largest role in Fa-Reinese politics and have a large presence in the military. Sueonghanese descendants make up much of the Eastern commoner population. Fa-Rei practice a spirit/ancestor religion.
