Tama listened pensively with her eyes closed, one hand on her chin. As Tsubaki finished, she nodded and sighed. "Thank you. Thorough, as usual, Tsubaki..."

"Hmm." Tama nodded and smiled slightly, "Very well. I appreciate it. In the morning I can divulge on my experiences thus far before you report back to the Captain General. Camp is this way" she finished, getting on the horse and heading back to the others.

Akane didn't say anything but she was about to get up and take watch but when Tun Si volunteer, Akane couldn't help but thank her for it. After Akane thought she consumed enough rations she put the rest back in her pack and gently drank from her water skin.

Nergüi kept his own counsel about what he had seen, but he eventually dragooned Aeon into taking his place while he rubbed his horse down and set up his own sleeping arrangements.
"If you can stand the smell, we could have a fire."
He nodded toward the droppings of the tethered horses.

At this point, all that illuminated the area was a dim red glow from the stars above, and Tama's makeshift Djinnfire torch from far away as she was returning up the road to find the encampment
[When in this low light, characters can't make out shapes past a few yards, and the Perception score is cut in half when using sight.]

Nan Fa Ra Duk walked around watching the on his side of the encampment. The bard had done his duty of keeping watch and scanned the Horizon for anything.
So far his watch has been boring, just the way the bard liked it, but he was definitely tired of standing guard. He couldn't wait for someone to come relieve him. When Tun Si finally showed up he headed back to the camp and started setting up his bedroll for the night.[rand=8367467975388376505929822389236984463818500981866285521868556296]

Tama arrives to find the others waiting in the dark, but that suited her just fine.
"Everyone, this is Lieutenant Mifune Tsubaki. A fellow soldier of the Ishi-Jo, and a dear friend. She'll be taking watch tonight, so get plenty of rest. There'll be no fire, as the dark is our greatest advantage in this open field, against the monsters and ghosts that prowl at night."

Once Tama had returned, along with Lieutenant Tsubaki, Tun Si scanned the horizon one last time before returning to the camp. She politely acknowledged the Lieutenant with a bow and then retired to her tent.
Inside, she shed most of her monk attire save for the robe. And instead of going to sleep immediately, Tun opted to kneel on her bedroll and silently meditate for a few minutes.

Nan Fa Ra Duk looked up from setting his bed roll up and over at Tama and her new beautiful companion.
"Oh my...", the musician said before recovering some of his composure, "Well I'm glad to know I.. that is we all will be much safer with you watching over us. I'm Nan Fa Ra Duk. And who are you, my dear?"

Aeon stared at Tama's friend, sizing her up briefly then turned away to look outward from their camp without a word. He eyed the darkness about him carefully trying to pick out motion in the night and any unusual sounds despite the murmurs of conversation at his back.

As Tsubaki dismounts Tama's horse, she looks to Duk, brow furrowed.
"..Lieutenant Mifune. Master Satou just finished saying this."
Nam Il pokes out of his tent when Tama arrived, and gets up to bow a greeting to the new arrival.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Lieutenant..."
Aeon, meanwhile, senses nothing suspicious in the darkness, and the emerging sounds of singing frogs from the pond gave him all the more feeling that this area just might be safe, if nature seemed fit to go about its business.

Akane only nodded to acknowledge the new comer before she went back to her thoughts. Akane hated when she missed a ritual she felt like she disappointed her grandmother and the spirits. Alan's sighed she can not wait for the morning sun but neither does she feel like sleeping. Than Akane remembered what her grandmother taught her.
Akane than went into a meditation posture her teacher taught her.

Nan Fa Ra Duk moved forward toward the lovely lieutenant, stepping in front of Nam Il's offered hand.
"Oh Did she? Forgive me I must have been distracted by something...", The Bard bowed low with a sweeping geasture, looked up at Mifune, "...beautiful. Welcome to our little camp, Lieutenant Mifune. It is a pleasure to have you here."

With a stoic, platonic nod, Tsubaki teleports from in front of Duk onto the highest rock at the encampment, leaving behind only a misty purple aura that quickly disappears. Aeon's senses tingle, and he can tell that this warrior is a psychic like himself, more than likely fluent in psychoportation abilities.
Nam Il is startled by the show, and glad to see a focused soldier assisting them, as he makes for his tent once more.

Nan Fa Ra Duk blinked as Mifune vanished in a puff of purple smoke and stood up straight.
Sighing deeply he stroked his beard, twirling a finger in tip then rushed over to his bedding. He adjusted it slightly until it faced the rock Lieutenant Mifune was standing guard on, sat down and pulled his Guqin free. Rummaging into his pack he pulled out a shoddy looking sheet of parchment, and a bit of charcoal and started plucking notes on his GuQin and jotting them down on his parchment.
"La la la... me me do re fa..." the bard half-hummed half-sung to himself as he plucked and wrote.

Tama only managed a raised eyebrow despite whatever shock she was feeling internally at Duk's sudden suavity. As was her ritual before bed, she began to remove her armor -albeit less carefully than the previous night- and lied down in her bedroll without a tent for cover, wanting to rise with the sun.

END OF DAY 3
[Day 4 will be up tonight. If my calendar/map is right, you should arrive at Shion-Pa tomorrow/day 4. There you can shop for items supplies, gears and enhance your weapons. Further exploring can find new facilities to help you on your journey. The town's messenger service by the gates can be used to keep in contact with others across the world, for those who need it.]
