Physical Description: Above average height, light colored skin, Athletic build, black short hair (a bit spiked), silver colored eyes. His clothes vary depending on his situation, though his usual attire consists of a Dark grey undershirt, black open over shirt with hood, black pants and sandals.
Personality: Patient, cold and calculating. Areku is usually very quiet around those he doesn't know. However once he has made a "friend" he opens up and can be very light hearted, though he is very careful as to whom he shows his humanity to.

Tactics/Combat Style: Uses pockets of shadow to maneuver around his targets. He makes all kinds of different sounds to distract them from his exact location and his presence all together. In total darkness is when he is at his best.
Origin/Back-story: Areku was born in a small village in the mountainous parts of Hoshidon. His mother, an esteemed seamstress and his father, a retired Samurai raised him with every ounce of love they could manage. After his father retired, he became a small time merchant to pass the time. They taught him loyalty, chivalry, honor, duty and all other morals that good people have. One day when he was 8 years old, while his father was away on business, his house was broken into by bandits. He hid under his bed and heard his mother beaten and eventually killed. Upon his father's return, he begged him to teach him to fight. When asked by his father why he wanted to suddenly learn, Areku's response was simple, Vengeance. His father denied him the training he hoped for , and he began to grow apart from his father. Not having anyone to stay with him when his father traveled, Areku would be sent to stay with his blind uncle while he was away. His first night there, Areku, as usual since that horrible night, had a nightmare, reliving his mother's murder with vivid clarity. His uncle awoke him to talk about what had happened. During the discussion Areku was asked a similar question that his father had asked him. Upon his response, his uncle smiled and told him that he would teach him the way of Ninja. When Areku asked him how, his uncle revealed to him that he was Ninja, unknown to his brother, Areku's father. Over the years, he taught Areku everything he knew. Due to his uncles blindness, Areku learned very well how to fight with light not present. After his 17th birthday, Arekus uncle became sick. On his death bed, his uncle told him how to find his old clan, and that they would take him in. After he died, Areku left home and sought out his uncles clan. After telling them everything that has happened in his life, they told him they would take him in, but only on one condition. He must avenge his mother's death, and move on from it. Accept these terms, they gave him weapons, armors, supplies, contacts and a few jobs to give him some income and sent him on his way. He now walks the lands, looking for the group of thugs that killed his mother, and when he finds them, their deaths will not be pleasant...
